About the role

This role is crucial to the delivery of projects and work initiatives within the Digital Business Programs. The Delivery Lead – Customer Services is responsible for keeping multiple projects, Work Requests, and BAU Changes on track for the organisation, ensuring they are completed on time, to agreed quality standards and according to specifications. 

This is NOT a Project Manager role. The Delivery Lead – Customer Services will work across a range of initiatives in the in the SAP ISU/CRM, My Account - Self Service, Contact Centre and Metering domains and focus on the effective delivery of outcomes for customers within constraints of time and budget, using appropriate and agreed techniques, ensuring that all contributors are aligned and maintaining compliance with quality and standards. 

Your duties will involve:

  • Collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders to determine the scope and timeline of the delivery, and ensuring delivery of changes into production
  • Monitoring and ensuring on-time delivery using appropriate techniques, and ensuring compliance with quality and standards is maintained
  • Assisting in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation plan based upon current versus future state of the business needs.
  • Co-ordinating delivery product implementation and modification activities; assisting in post-implementation / continuous improvement efforts to enhance product performance. 

About you

This role will suit someone who has a passion for project and programme delivery and who has demonstrated experience in driving and work initiatives and projects through to completion. This is NOT a project management role. 

Having oversight of a range of project initiatives you actively engage with all business stakeholders to monitor delivery tasks and ensure successful delivery outcomes. You have strong technical knowledge of the SAP IS-U/CRM product suite and are able identify areas for improvement opportunities, better leveraging the product for Sydney Water.

This role requires you to have excellent organisational skills, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated experience interfacing with, and influencing, a range of business stakeholders to monitor and achieve delivery tasks, ensuring successful delivery outcomes.

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis or related field.
  • Prince 2 Foundation certifications
  • At least 5 years’ delivery experience with SAP IS-U/CRM/Self-Service/Contact Centre/Metering. You may not have experience in all these domains, but we encourage you to apply if you have most covered.
  • Advanced to expert-level knowledge and understanding of application design, system engineering, integration, and IT delivery.
