We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Information Management Process Specialist.

In this role you will play a key part in enhancing the collection, upkeep, sharing and decommissioning of asset information to support asset management goals.

You will drive ongoing improvements within the asset information management system, focusing on people, processes, technology, and data to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice on asset information management, guiding the organisation on process use when needed. Work independently to make decisions based on business needs and quality standards.
  • Lead efforts to improve business processes, making the collection, sharing, maintenance, and retirement of data more efficient.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies for asset information processes, focusing on the needs of both internal and external users, including the impact on operations.
  • Define and document data management processes for asset information. Ensure clear roles and responsibilities during process reviews and improvements.
  • Build rapport and maintain internal and external relationships to enable effective consideration of stakeholder needs/expectations for asset information management.
  • Develops business requirements including project and continuous improvement initiatives to enable effective solutioning and configuration of applications for the asset information management system.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology or a related discipline or experience deemed equivalent with demonstrated experience in information management. 
  • Experience with process improvements methodologies and approaches
  • Demonstrated experience with management system policies, frameworks and documentation for asset information management.
  • Demonstrated experience with formal governance and working forums for asset information management.
  • Ability to Work in partnership with all business areas, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders to enable effective asset information management.

Essential Requirements:

  •  Tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology or a related discipline or experience deemed equivalent with demonstrated experience in information management. 
  • You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application to be considered for this role
