Culture Transformation Lead

  • Working closely with the Enterprise Leadership Group to build advocacy and engage these top 70 leaders in shaping and role modelling our desired culture.
  • Position is based in Parramatta, with flexible working arrangements available in discussion with the team.
  • 18month Fixed Term Contract initially

About the role

The purpose of the Culture Transformation Lead role is to activate culture programs and initiatives to enable Sydney Water to achieve its strategic objective of having a High Performance Culture. This role involves shaping the design and delivery of the Culture Transformation Roadmap. This role collaborates with other parts of the business to embed our desired culture in key programs of work and identified processes.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with People Partners and business leaders to provide advice and input to Group People and Culture plans, as well as bespoke cultural initiatives to address localised culture challenges, ensuring alignment with the Culture Transformation Roadmap and Blueprint.
  • Working with the Executive team and Heads of Business to identify and activate changes in symbols, stories, measurement and practices to enable a high performance culture. This also includes actively contributing to other culture change levers such as CDP, Recognition, Total Rewards, Your Experience & Your Pulse surveys,
  • Shape the implementation of the Culture Transformation Roadmap using short, medium and long term strategies including measurement.
  • Implementing and activating culture programs and initiatives, working in collaboration with key stakeholders and external suppliers on both design and delivery.
  • Establishing supplier relationships through procurement of a supplier panel for culture-related services

About you

  • Minimum 10 years working in Human Resources, with experience in Organisational Development roles
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified in a relevant discipline (eg. Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business) or experience deemed equivalent
  • Expertise in organisational culture change, including demonstrated experience leading organisation culture change within a large-scale organisation.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including running workshops with senior leaders.
  • Program or Project management, including a strong track record of successful delivery of culture programs and initiatives.
  • This role will require the ability to manage ambiguity and complex problems, requiring analysis and understanding of change management.
