Your role will involve:
The purpose of the Manager Records Management is to drive strategic priorities and transformation across our information asset management. This role will be central to improve and develop our organizational information practices and ensuring we meet our statutory obligations under the State Records Act 1998 and other relevant information standards.

The ideal candidate for Manager Records Management is responsible for driving organizational and cultural changes needed to achieve strategic objectives, Encourages and implements new approaches to improve results, helps others overcome resistance to change, actively creates and promotes cross boundary collaboration to improve business results, Initiates and maintains strategic relationships with stakeholders and business partners
What will you be doing?
Plan and conduct activities to ensure that Sydney Water complies with its statutory obligations under the State Records Act 1998 and associated regulations and relevant standards
Report on compliance to the NSW State Records Act 1998 and associated regulations, and industry standards.
Contribute to the implementation of consistent and compliant information management practices across ever growing digital content
Developing policies that require extensive stakeholder consultation, sensitivity, and attention to detail, meeting.
Coordinating the activities of a team of information management professionals that improve the organisations records management
Qualification and Experience:
Essential:
The ideal candidate should have tertiary qualifications in IT/Sciences or Business (or experience deemed equivalent)
Proven knowledge and understanding of information and records management legislation as applicable to State Owned Corporations.
Demonstrated experience in assessing, planning and conducting information management compliance or audit activities against internal and external requirements
Desirable:
Substantial experience in Information Management throughout the whole lifecycle
