About the role

The Investment – Program Lead will support the Senior Investment Manager in the successful delivery of program outcomes through the ‘right projects at the right time’ whilst ensuring the realisation of program benefits within scope, time, resource, quality and budget constraints.

You will deliver infrastructure asset performance outcomes, effectively balancing cost (TotEx), risk, and performance in alignment with the Strategic Asset Management Plan and relevant strategic asset management frameworks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the day-to-day performance of the nominated Infrastructure Program;
  • Support the planning and design of the program and proactively monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate;
  • Developing and/or implementing the program’s governance framework in line with the Infrastructure Portfolio Investment Management Office (IP-IMO);
  • Monitoring the program’s budget, expenditures and costs against benefits as the program progresses, ensuring program-level forecasts are accurate;
  • Participate in regular performance reviews with suppliers, delivery partners, team members and stakeholders; and
  • Establishing, maintaining and/or improving current systems and processes to support the effective and efficient delivery of the program and projects within it, in conjunction with the program team, program stakeholders and/or the IP-IMO.

About you

Relevant degree qualification (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics,) or experience deemed equivalent;

Circa 3 to 5 years industry experience, including in:

  • Working within and leading large, multi-disciplinary integrated teams and/or alliances
  • Design and construction project delivery within the infrastructure/utilities sectors
  • NEC contract management and administration
  • Managing complex stakeholders
  • Program management and/or regional delivery of multiple investment programs delivery via a range of contracting models
  • Drives team success by motivating and enabling others to reach their potential, and confronting team performance issues.
