Your role will involve:
This role supports the Portfolio Manager to manage the relationship between Digital and business units in Sydney Water to achieve positive business outcomes via digital deliverables. For this role, the focus is on Sydney Water’s business users in the Water & Environment Services and Infrastructure Delivery Groups and delivery of digital solutions in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Services Management (FSM) and Operational Technology (OT) domains.
Who are we looking for?
Leadership Skills:
The ideal candidate will be building Digital Business engagement and relationship development, pipeline development, Business case definition, work with all stakeholders to effectively transition work into delivery teams. Write effective business scenarios, requirements documentation and conceptual & functional design documentation.
Interpersonal Skills:
Participate actively in project teams and support Project Brief consultation, authoring and review to enhance the stakeholder engagement relationship. Prioritize the safety of colleagues, the public, and the environment in all tasks. Manage conflicts, manage scope, manage requirements communications and to maintain knowledge for future use.
Qualification and Experience:
Essential:
The ideal candidate should have Tertiary degree in information technology / Digital Services management and/or equivalent industry experience.
Demonstrated experience developing and managing business engagements, including excellent communication (oral / written) and interpersonal skills
Required:
Strong, analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and implement complex initiatives.
Business needs analysis and the ability to align digital solutioning to business solution outcomes.
Experience in Project Brief development with the ability to succinctly identify and articulate business outcomes.
