• 35 Hours per week ($84,134.46 base salary plus superannuation!) 
• Potts Hill base location – working across greater Sydney 

Do you want to work outdoors and apply your passion for the environment every day in the work you do? We are seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our Hydrometric Services team. 

What will you be doing? 

Each day will be different. You will mostly be out in the field assisting with the maintenance and calibration of hydrometric instrumentation, and collating data from our water and wastewater networks. 

You will: 

• Collect data and fault tracking of instrumentation in the field. 
• Install, calibrate and maintain field instruments at monitoring points. 
• Analyse and interpret data collected in the field. 
• Deploy and maintain IoT instrumentation. 

This role is mainly outdoors and involves driving around the Sydney Metropolitan region performing calibrations and maintenance of instrumentation such as flowmeters, level sensors, IoT Devices, and weather stations. You will enjoy a mix of office and field-based work locations – knowledge of water cycle and wastewater systems, telemetry and hydrometric equipment is beneficial – but we will train you in these areas. 

You must be comfortable in confined spaces and climbing down into the wastewater network when required.
