About the role

This role will focus on condition assessment of Sydney Waters Waste Water & Storm Water network, utilising CCTV images to prepare work scopes and issuing to stakeholders for maintenance activities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Asset Condition Coordination: Assess and monitor all assets for risks and issues, including specialist reviews.
  • ROMP Contribution: Provide a forum for operations, maintenance delivery, and engineering to discuss asset performance issues and risks.
  • Renewal Planning: Highlight areas/assets of concern for renewal/replacement discussions.
  • Asset Management: Ensure all assets are identified and managed in SW’s Maximo Asset Management System and HIDRA.
  • CCTV - Apply processes and procedures related to operational and condition programs specific to reviewing CCTV footage of sewer mains and initiate corrective measures. Scope work and prepare plans to enable issuing of work to service providers while assisting in monitoring delivery of the CCTV and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Training of other users of CCTV review and assessment and be the primary point of contact within the team for an allocated area of operations related to CCTV operational programs

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, science or a related discipline and/or proven experience in operations, maintenance/renewals or treatment/quality aspects of water &/or recycled water &/or wastewater &/or stormwater systems.
  • Successful track record of working with internal and external partners to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to take on challenges and deliver projects both individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of computerized systems, preferably MAXIMO, maintenance, and process management systems.
  • Current drivers licence or can obtain one immediately
