About the role
People Advisors provide advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business, throughout the various stages of an employee’s life cycle. Reporting to the People Partner, you will work from within the People Services Team to ensure a seamless stakeholder experience.
In your new role you shall be responsible to participate as a member of Sydney Water People Partnering and Serves team to contribute to the implementation of corporate strategy through the delivery of best practice people management.
Key to this role is the ability to assist and implement change management throughout various stages of employee cycle, to champion safety across the business to understand safety accountabilities and wellness support programs, to provide advice on employee movements including the probationary process, workforce planning and analysis of resourcing data, job descriptions and performance goal settings and reviews.
You are an experienced HR administrator with a proven understanding of HR and Payroll process. You are experienced in the delivery of change managements related administration process such as organisational restructures to effectively delivery end to end change management and administrative related support.
You are experienced supporting displaced employees and completing related administration including developing redundancy letters, conducting job searches and managing the related recruitment activity.
To be considered for this position you will demonstrate to Qualifications, experience and skills as outlined in the Job Description. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Excellent customer engagement and interpersonal skills
- Experience assisting and implementing change management principles and strategies
- Effective time and project management skills
- The ability to manage and deliver competing day to day activities.
- Knowledge and experience of HR and Payroll related new hire procedure and policy
- Ability to communicate with impact using highly developed written and verbal communication skills
