About the role:
In this role the Assistant Project Manager will lead, and project manage planning activities and processes including, preparing and communicating plans and business cases and ensure the quality of planning outputs and solutions. You will also lead planning risk management including identifying risks and mitigation plans. You will successfully project manage planning projects to ensure the timely initiation, development, and completion of plans to facilitate Sydney Water’s $2.5-4B/annum capital program. This role will work under the supervision and guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager.
About you:
- 3+ years industry experience
- This role will work under guidance of a Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager
- Project management experience on aspects of projects using best practice project management practices and methodologies for timely delivery of quality outputs
- Project Management skills (scheduling, cost management and issue/risk management, stakeholder management)
- Proficient oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for regularly consulting key stakeholders within and outside Sydney Water
- Degree qualification in relevant discipline (Project Management, Portfolio and Program management or Engineering)
