Warehouse & OCP Maintenance Coordinator
- Maintain the current vehicles and associated plant & equipment assets to the required and legislative requirements to ensure the assets are fit for purpose within the Network of Sydney Water
- Maintenance, repair and operations of machinery and equipment background
- Support innovation and improvement efficiencies across Warehouse and Logistics and support in project improvement scenarios
- Potts Hill Location – Would involve some travel around the Sydney area
- $95,368.96 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation

About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in the maintenance and upkeep of the overflow containment pumps and generators. Support will also be required in a number of warehousing activities and the day to day operation of the Warehouse.
Your responsibilities are:
- Ensuring that the maintenance and upkeep of OCP equipment is aligned with OEM and legislative requirements
- Identify and improve on requirements and priorities to support a high performing outcome.
- Support and inform in the OCP asset lifecycle planning to deliver on plant and equipment strategies
- Participate in and support incident management and root causes relating to the OCP equipment and other safety matters
- Perform warehouse activities in order to sort, store, issue and receive materials by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment
- Carrying out activities to ensure the optimal performance of all warehouse actions and improving the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.
- Be constantly aware of WH&S issues and ensure all WHS&E policies and procedures are being followed.
- Unpack, count, weigh and often sort materials received to ensure delivery is correct
- Maintain and update required systems and reporting to ensure visibility of related works.
- Coordinate depot-based service and maintenance activities for major plant, equipment and fleet
- Responsibility on the maintenance and upkeep of 88 units (currently) of Heavy Vehicles, Trailers, Pumps and Generators
About you
- Desirable to have a current Forklift and a MR Licence
- Experience in Maintenance coordination of same or similar equipment
- Experience in a Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain environment
- Experience working with SAP is an advantage
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and HVNL requirements
- Working Knowledge in Equipment or Inventory Maintenance Management
- Proficiency in Maximo and MS Office applications will be important
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Supply Chain or Business)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate, and work under pressure to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people
