About the role

As the Manager Digital Insights Integration Services, you will oversee the secure operation, maintenance, and support of our cutting-edge digital intelligence services. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring these services are efficient, sustainable, and hyper-connected, providing seamless and reliable access for our customers. By managing these critical aspects, you'll lead a large team dedicated to maintaining the integrity and performance of our digital intelligence systems across the enterprise. Your efforts will enhance the user experience and drive our organization's digital transformation goals forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the secure operation, maintenance, and management of database solutions and services, including but not limited to SAP HANA, Oracle Exadata, and MS SQL.

Provide key inputs to the functional strategic roadmap, ensuring it aligns with organisational goals and fosters innovation across all digital initiatives.

Ensure service levels, health, and resilience for database, middleware, analytics, integration, and big data services are met through continuous monitoring and management.

Collaborate with digital teams, onsite and offsite, to share insights, improve service operations, and ensure the continuous enhancement of intelligence solutions.

Foster effective collaboration with people in alignment with Sydney Water's leadership framework principles and model the company’s values and behaviours.

Oversee, develop, and coach senior leads and professionals to achieve high performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and growth.

Cultivate strong internal and external relationships to ensure effective service delivery and problem-solving.

Drive and contribute to the implementation of new initiatives to foster continuous improvement and service excellence.

Manage the performance and operational health of database platform systems, integration systems, insights systems, and analytics services.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Technology/Business/Engineering and/or relevant equivalent industry experience

Extensive demonstrated experience in Information Technology

Proven ability in managing secure operation, maintenance and management intelligence solutions and services

Proven experience in managing and leading large teams and setting direction

Deep expertise in the secure operation, maintenance and management of technical solutions and services including but not limited to Database and Managed Database Systems, Middleware, intelligence and analytics.

Strong knowledge of Digital Infrastructure, Digital Security & Communications, Digital Performance, Digital Experience, Software & Product operations maintenance and management.

Strong relationship, stakeholder engagement and conflict management skills including ability to negotiate and communicate at senior and managerial level both internally and externally

Ability to work as part of a team in a changing and challenging environment

High level of problem-solving skills with the ability to rationalise identify, evaluate risks, and develop alternate options
