An exciting opportunity within Water Resource Recovery to Join the Camden Wollondilly hub, in this permanent Senior Production Officer role offering a competitive base salary $113,760.83 plus 11.5% superannuation and access to RDOs!
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be able to make a real difference through this essential service to the community and the environment. The workplace includes office and outdoor activities while working with a diverse group of employees.
- Operate the plant in all conditions, in alignment with Treatment and Sydney Water frameworks including health and safety requirements, quality and information management protocols, incident response and business continuity frameworks
- Responsible for a safe workplace and work activities, participation in health and safety training and activities, managing and reporting all identified hazards and ensuring their activities do not cause injury to others
- Operate the plants in alignment with approved Production plans ensuring licence and regulatory compliance, and approved budgets
- Provide input into relevant meetings regarding onsite activities including utilising online collaboration wherever possible and practical to minimise impact on operations
- Provide mentoring, support, technical advice and training to the Hub. Identify capability gaps and collaborate with the Hub Manager to improve team effectiveness

Essential Requirements:
- Trade qualification or Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a current or previous role supporting and training team members
- Good people skills and experience in coordinating internal and external service providers to perform maintenance and project works, including complex isolation and plant cut overs
- Experience in a production environment or asset maintenance
- Ability to complete and/or facilitate problem solving and trouble-shooting process equipment
- Exposure to safety, environment and quality management systems
