Business Process Lead - Maximo

About the role:
As part of the Business Architecture team, you will play a key role in supporting visibility of enterprise capability, consistent application of architectural standards and progress towards improved customer- and business outcomes through key operating model initiatives.
The Business Process Lead will identify and support management of interdependencies, impacting business process performance across the business scope of the Maximo program. Expected pathways are Maximo upgrade program, the respective business process owners, and / or a pipeline of initiatives incl. future EAM upgrades.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to;
- Understand Sydney Water’s corporate strategy, and demonstrate Sydney Water values and behaviours in order to contribute to a positive and productive working environment
- Work with Project and Program Managers to understand and manage interdependencies across the Business scope of the Maximo Upgrade
- Engage with business stakeholders to shape and resource for projects/initiatives to improve process performance across the business scope.
- Financial delegations exercised for this role are compliant with Sydney Water policies and the Delegation Manual as they change from time to time
- Contribute to board, committee and executive papers for relevant reporting and decision making.
- Ensure end-to-end process alignment o Identify and manage interdependencies between design and processes
- Engage with the customer architecture team to map our customer experience against our standard processes — degree of impact, current pain points, level of staff enablement
- Participants in ongoing process and system improvements to support and improve business efficiently and risk management, and staff work environment
- Maintain close working relationship with members of the interdependent Programs to ensure management of interdependencies
About you:
- Degree qualification in business, engineering or related field
- Qualifications / Demonstrated experience in Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, TQM or equivalent highly designable
- 8-10 years experience with in Process lead role or similar
- 5 years’ experience developing and delivering successful program of business improvement across a similar size operational business
- Experience with transformation programs in Asset based service provider operating models
- High level analysis and report writing skills
- Proven, successful leadership of large cross- business change initiatives to achieve strategic outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in developing, managing and monitoring business planning and improvement processes.
- Demonstrated program, project & change management skills
- Familiarity and experience in improvement methodologies (Prince/Lean six sigma, KT, DQI etc)
