The role of Community Engagement Advisor is to support a ‘customer at the heart’ approach for meaningful engagement across all stakeholders including community, local councils, government agencies, developers and our customers.

We need a great communicator with superior collaboration and project management skills. You will also have proven demonstration within community and stakeholder engagement to deliver on projects and initiatives for our customers.

Why you’re the right fit:

  • You have a minimum of 5-7 + years’ experience in Community Engagement or a related field, ideally within government, utilities, or infrastructure. 
  • You have strong written, verbal and communication skills. 
  • IAP2 Certificate of Engagement is desirable.
  • You’ve got some solid examples in the development and delivery of community and stakeholder engagement plans for projects and project planning to tell us about.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Compile complex communication and engagement strategies to promote the project, protect reputation, manage issues and deliver successful programs.
  • Build and maintain effective and influential relationships across all stakeholder segments including community, private sector, government agencies, internal and customer.
  • Collect community and stakeholder information to identify their needs and activities, including collating data, analysis, focus groups and surveys.
