About the role
As a Business Customer Representative, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our transactional business customers. You’ll case manage relationships and agreements with connected business customers and use business tools to deliver products and services to selected customer segments. You’ll manage customer compliance with our requirements, with a focus on trade wastewater and backflow.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Customers, you’ll work within a team of 12 Business Customer Representatives, 1 Technical Specialist and 2 Customer Support Officers to provide an outstanding customer experience for our business customers.
In this role you will:
- Provide technical advice and guidance to business customers
- Evaluate, implement and monitor low trade waste discharge approvals
- Manage customer compliance with requirements
- Investigate, rectify and report on trade waste incidents
- Use targeted communication skills to build relationships
- Manage projects and contribute to team effectiveness
About you
- You have a minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant role with demonstrated ability to meet objectives
- Demonstrated high level of customer service and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated high level of systems and process skills
- Demonstrated communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of the impacts of commercial business practices on water utility products and services
- Demonstrated experience in delivering a program of work to business customers
- Understanding of the delivery mechanisms and types of programs, products and services suitable for transactional business customers
- Desirable – relevant tertiary qualification and water industry experience
- Desirable - Certificate IV Water Operations (Trade Waste)
