About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of one or more cyber security projects. This role is critical in ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan & Execute: Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Risk & Budget Management: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage budgets against financial targets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project status, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Leadership: Motivate and guide project teams to deliver on time and within scope.
- Change Control: Adapt plans to evolving needs while maintaining governance and quality standards.
- Reporting & Improvement: Monitor progress, provide regular updates, and drive continuous improvement post-delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
Project plan, schedule, cost plan, and other PRINCE2-aligned artifacts.
About you
- A degree in technology or related discipline
- A qualification in project management (PRINCE2 Certification / PMI Certification)
- Experience in managing cyber security projects.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management within digital environments.
- Strong knowledge of PRINCE2 or similar methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience managing and successfully delivery of technology projects and programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in different project delivery approaches, including waterfall, SCRUM & SaFE and Iterative/Incremental.
- Knowledge of current best practice in the delivery of IT solutions, project management methodologies and their application to IT projects.
- Experience in executing project management processes (outlined in Accountabilities)
- Effective leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Strong understanding of business requirements and technical limitations as determined by the organisation’s enterprise architecture
