About the role

As a Digital Environment Optimisation Specialist, you will be managing our Microsoft 365, Exchange and SharePoint platforms to ensure best practices, optimal governance, security, and management. Your role will be crucial in driving the adoption and optimization of these tools, aligning them with our business objectives. This position is essential for the effective implementation and use of Microsoft 365 (M365) tools and services within our organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

You will design solutions that account for the evergreen nature of the Microsoft 365 platform.

Platform Management

Administer M365 Teams and SharePoint.

Ensure smooth operation, security, and compliance.

Design solutions for the evolving Microsoft 365 platform.

Site and Content Management

Manage site creation, permissions, and content organization.

Maintain metadata and taxonomy consistency.

Integration and Application Management

Handle integrations with other applications.

Ensure seamless connectivity within the M365 ecosystem.

Security and Compliance

Implement and monitor security measures.

Ensure regulatory and policy compliance.

Business Champion

Bridge digital and business units.

Translate business needs into technical requirements.

Advocate for M365 and SharePoint solutions.

Change Management

Lead change management initiatives.

Communicate updates and benefits to stakeholders.

Innovation and Best Practices

Stay updated with M365 and SharePoint features.

Contribute to the digital roadmap.

Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Collaboration and Community Building

Foster a community of practice for users.

Organize workshops, webinars, and forums.

Encourage team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

 About the candidate

Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

Microsoft M365 certifications

Proven track record in planning and delivering Microsoft 365 adoption strategies and experience in implementing and managing adoption programs for M365 tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner and Outlook.

In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, their benefits, and use cases for different industries or business units.

Excellent communication and training skills.

Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
