An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Development Manager to join the Property Optimisation team.
Working within the Property Optimisation team, you will leverage your multi-faceted property optimisation and development experience, to provide technical expertise and strategic recommendations on the development and delivery of property optimisation initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities:
You will be accountable for the design, planning and development of property optimisation projects across the Sydney Water Property Portfolio including technical analysis, advice and supervision of a multi-skilled project team working across the project lifecycle, to deliver the maximum value to Sydney Waters customers.
- Implement the strategic framework and processes for the Property Optimisation Program to ensure early and effective stakeholder consultation, achievement budgets and adequate controls.
- Liaise and negotiate with, government agencies and councils for property related matters
- Liaise and negotiate with, internal stakeholder groups within the business for property related matters.
- Analysis of considerations and risks from stakeholder groups to reach determinations on property optimisation proposals.
- Contribute to high level advice, reports and business case submissions for complex and specific property matters in response to management, board and Ministerial representations.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant degree qualification (e.g. Property, Business, Town Planning, Engineering) or experience deemed equivalent
- Knowledge in property portfolio asset management, including legislative and compliance requirements (EPA, LGA, etc)
- Implement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for all stages of projects and programs.
- Knowledge of water infrastructure design, development and operation
- Experience in strategic property portfolio, property optimisation and/or property management with previous experience as a supervisor or manager.
- Commercial experience – Business cases and commercial agreements.
- Experience working directly with Sydney Water teams on property and/or water network projects is desirable but not essential.
