An exciting opportunity to join our IP-IMO Portfolio as a Portfolio Schedule Lead, we’re accountable for the schedule performance of the Infrastructure Portfolio – Investment Management Office IP-IMO Portfolio Controls Team supporting the Infrastructure Portfolio.
You will be critical to the success of the portfolio, through strong collaboration and coordination of schedule management across Sydney Water’s various Infrastructure planning and delivery functions.
Responsibilities:
- Enabling the Infrastructure Portfolio by developing consistent and the effective right portfolio, program, time, and cost control functions to develop, monitor and ensure optimal portfolio performance.
- Drive the implementation of the schedule management strategy by driving the controls team to support SW in ensuring the organisation is implementing the right projects at the right time to achieve its business plans and strategic objectives.
- Development of the portfolio interdependency schedule. (A master schedule, that links various programs and project projects for their interdependency, aligning with benefits, delivery strategy, regions, kinds of projects and other such factors).
- Develop, maintain and update the Power BI Dashboards with quality and reliable data; to reflect project, program and portfolio updates.
- Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly portfolio performance reports, identifying the cadence of progress in the portfolio, and level of confidence on the forecasts.
- Develop and manage processes and procedures, including continuous improvement initiatives to ensure satisfactory infrastructure portfolio and project performance outcomes

Experience and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, project management or in a similar discipline and/or experience deemed equivalent.
- Expertise in Primavera P6, MS project, Excel and PowerBI. SAP knowledge will be highly regarded
- Knowledge in property portfolio asset management, including legislative and compliance requirements (EPA, LGA, etc)
- Implement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for all stages of projects and programs.
- Knowledge of water infrastructure design, development and operation
- Experience in strategic property portfolio, property optimisation and/or property management with previous experience as a supervisor or manager.
- Commercial experience – Business cases and commercial agreements.
