What will you be doing?
The Business Process Analyst is dedicated to understanding, evaluating, improving, and optimising operational processes within an organisation. They analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, facilitate process enhancements through detailed modelling, and collaborate with various departments to gather insights and develop functional requirements. The role creates comprehensive documentation to agreed standards, ensure alignment with strategic goals, and apply their analytical skills to solve problems and address organisational pain points.
Your role will involve:
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in current business processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate process improvement by developing detailed process models and creating a clear scope for opportunities to enhance, leading to streamlined operations.
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather insights, understand needs, develop functional requirements and acceptance criteria, and incorporate feedback into process designs, ensuring comprehensive and effective process improvements.
Create detailed documentation of business processes using BPMN2 design standards in the business process model repository to maintain clarity and consistency.
About you
Minimum 5 years of experience in process analysis with ability in business process modelling and gathering business requirements.
Proven experience with process design and improvement methodologies and reporting.
Proven process modelling skills in order to define and document processes in a BPMN2 standard format.
Strong skills in process modelling and business process design.
Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, a BPM tool (eg Signavi8/Aris/ProMapp).
Collaborative and constructive with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience in managing and leading large teams and setting direction
Ability to build solid working relationships and stakeholder engagement skills
