Product & Infrastructure Performance Effectiveness Lead

You will be responsible for leading the reporting function of integrated performance (service, system, asset and delivery) aligned to cost and risk appetite. 

Measure, and analyse the effectiveness of investment in capital projects, operating work packages and system & asset monitoring programs as well as reporting to executives, and board in line with our corporate objectives. 

What you will be doing 

  • Work proactively with the business to identify and track measures which will demonstrate assets and infrastructure systems are being planned, maintained, operated and invested in appropriately to meet the needs of our customers. 
  • Integrate asset management with other key business activities including strategy and enterprise planning, risk management, health and safety, operations, maintenance, capital delivery and financial planning. 
  • Inform the business managers and leads with performance, risk and cost issues by integrating multiple information systems. 
  • Report monthly regarding performance, compliance with agreed levels of customer service and progression towards agreed goals, including reporting details of any exceptions.  

About you 

  • Bachelor’s qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, or experience deemed equivalent 
  • Highly proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels, both internal and external to the organisations, with the ability to establish a high degree of credibility. 
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in development and implementation of performance, cost and risk framework. 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, trends, drivers and links to customer/ regulatory needs. 
  • Significant experience in business performance, couple with risk management, financial and economic analysis and using/developing related tools in decision making 
  • Strong commercial understanding of quality/totex/risk trade-offs with a lens on short-, medium- and long-term outcomes. 
  • Desired demonstrated 15+ experience in business performance insights (including service, system, asset and works), couple with risk management, financial and economic assessment and data driven decision making 
  • Desired Experience in insightful reporting for relevant products/asset classes and integrated water cycle management 
  • Desired experience in using BI management tools for asset management decision making  

Desired Certifications  

  • CAMA - Certified Asset Management Assessor  
  • CPAM - Certified Practitioner in Asset Management  
  • CSAM - Certified Senior Practitioner in Asset Management  
  • CFAM - Certified Fellow in Asset Management
