- EA Level 13 - $140,108.04 + super (38 hours)
We're on the lookout for experienced Senior Asset Information Specialists to join our Engineering and Technical Support team. You'll play a key role in managing asset information to support Sydney Water’s systems (AMS and AIS), helping us meet our asset management goals and bring our vision to life — creating better lives with world-class water services.
Responsibilities
- Help resolve system issues or enhancement requests by sharing your business knowledge. Support teams in shaping requirements and building strong business cases for improving asset information.
- Work with stakeholders to boost asset management across people, processes, technology, and data — making sure everything aligns with our goals.
- Manage and maintain asset data for key focus areas, including creating and updating data, designing data architecture, and overseeing applications.
- Help manage data governance, security, access, metadata, reference and master data, as well as document and content management — all while keeping data quality high.
About You:
Ideally you will hold Tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology or a related discipline. We would also consider experience deemed equivalent with demonstrated experience in information management. In addition:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset data and information management to support business processes and implement ongoing improvements.
- Able to foster innovation and support process improvement.
- Understanding of the requirements for total quality management, including quality assurance, service assessment, continuous improvement, and environmental management
- Demonstrated ability to use the MS Office suite to develop written documents in Word; summarised data in Excel using formulas and graphs to analyse data; effective presentations in PowerPoint
