Head of Operational Technology Programs
The purpose of the Head of Operational Technology Programs position is to deliver Operational Technology and SMART programs.
- Lead the design and development of operational technology, telemetry, SCADA and SMART programs.
- Recognise constraints, standards and guiding principles, and managing the validation of demand for services and influencing senior stakeholders
- Lead the acceptance of products and solutions developed by third parties and system integrators

About the role
The Head of Operational Technology Programs position leads the design and delivery of Operational Technology and SMART Solutions to support and realise the business strategies and operational standards - recognising constraints, standards and guiding principles, and managing the validation of demand for services and influencing senior stakeholders to ensure that the necessary investments are made to deliver the required services.
This position is accountable for the delivery of multiple operational technology programs comprising complex and high risk projects to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved and where work is required in collaboration with other Digital teams to deliver the required services and technologies.
About you
As a leader, you will have strong understanding of monitoring & control, SCADA and communications technologies. It is also important that you have/ demonstrate:
- Degree qualifications in electrical engineering, computer science or similar and/or equivalent industry experience, with a management post-graduate degree ideal.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in online/digital technologies, electrical engineering & instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of emerging digital technologies, such as IOT, Augmented Reality, Data Analytics.
- Certification in program or project management is desirable.
