Sydney Water is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Employee Experience Coordinator to join our People & Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role is pivotal in delivering initiatives that enhance the employee journey, with a strong focus on recognition, benefits, and engagement programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver employee experience initiatives with a focus on recognition, benefits, and engagement programmes.
  • Coordinate logistics and provide hands-on support for the annual company award ceremony, including Better Life and Long Service Awards.
  • Manage monthly Long Service Award operations, ensuring timely recognition and positive employee experiences.
  • Lead updates to the various benefit and recognition processes, improving usability and communication through stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain accurate programme records, support informal recognition tracking, and assist with benefits communications.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders, manage programme inboxes, and support data reporting and project delivery.

About You

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Comfortable working with data, analytics, and insights.
  • Basic understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Supportive and empathetic in interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience in event coordination and programme delivery.

Essential Requirements: 

  • You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application to be considered for this role.

  • Flexibility to travel across Sydney Water sites as required. 
  • Internal employees must seek approval from substantive manager prior to applying.
