About the Role
Join our Metering Operations teams on a 11-month Fixed term Contract where you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely information that supports billing and customer service excellence.
In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the operational delivery of metering services, including customer meter exchanges, data processing, and case management of metering-related enquiries. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining the data that drives Sydney Water’s revenue, with the customer and community at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update customer, meter exchange, and property data systems
- Process Customer Service Requests and interact with internal and external customers
- Manage day-to-day contract activities for meter exchanges and call-out work orders
- Coordinate meter exchange contract services and analyse related work orders
- Contribute to process improvement projects
About you:
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong computer skills with high accuracy in data entry and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in utilities or customer service is a plus
- Familiarity with enterprise billing systems (SAP preferred)
- Willingness to work on a rotating roster (Monday–Friday)
