About the role

As the Manager of Digital Infrastructure & Platforms, you will be responsible for:

Leading CI/CD Management: Oversee business initiatives and digital requirements through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Enhance DevOps & Security: Advance DevOps practices and ensure compliance with Sydney Water's operating license.

Align Infrastructure: Integrate foundational infrastructure with the operating model for seamless efficiency.

Optimize Operations: Ensure operational domains are aligned for enterprise-wide efficiency.

Responsibilities include but not limited to listed below:

Oversee Compute Platforms: Manage private and public cloud platforms for optimal performance and reliability.

Enhance CI/CD Framework: Drive improvements in deployment efficiency and quality.

Optimize Operations: Automate workflows to enhance system efficiency.

Develop & Coach Teams: Foster high performance and continuous improvement.

Direct DevOps Management: Enhance collaboration between development and operations.

These responsibilities are critical for ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of digital infrastructure and platforms

About You

Tertiary degree in Technology or Business, and/or equivalent experience.

Extensive demonstrated experience in Information Technology

Strong background and proven ability in leading and managing large design/build teams in a matrixed environment

Demonstrated experience in managing cloud tenancies and overseeing a DevOps CI/CD pipeline

Proven experience in managing and leading large teams and setting direction

Strong relationship, stakeholder engagement and conflict management skills including ability to negotiate and communicate at senior and managerial level both internally and externally

High-level problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to rationalise, identify, evaluate risks, and develop alternative options
