- Multiple 2-year maximum term role, $58,629.49 base salary + super
What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll be learning to support three of our main assets; Storm Water, Potable Water and Sewer. Our team is responsible for providing maintenance services on network assets, meeting all regulatory requirements and ensuring the provision of high-quality reliable water related services in a safe, customer centric, environmentally responsible and cost-effective manner.
Our traineeship program offers you a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Water Industry Operations while you develop valuable hands- on work experience and learn new skills. You will also get lots of mentoring and support along the way!
Duties are varied and may include:
- Learning how to conduct maintenance and repair of water and sewer mains, surface fittings including hydrants, valves, access chambers.
- Contributing to health and safety of yourself and others
- Learning about environmental and licensing procedures
- Working in a team environment and communicating with colleagues to maintain great relationships
- Assisting the team to complete manually handling duties of designated projects in the field
- Understanding license conditions and operations
