About the role
The primary purpose of the role is to design, develop, implement, maintain, and support the generation of business reports and dashboards for the Procurement team and partners. As a reporting analyst you will be leveraging existing business intelligence tools to drive greater efficiency and standardisation in report generation and achieve higher levels of operational insight and self-service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Examine and evaluate the purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing, format, use, and control.
- Review reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution, and purpose or function of report.
- Collaborate with procurement team and partners originating, handling, and processing reports to identify problems and use insights for recommending process improvements.
- Recommend and document the establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
- Prepare and issue instructions concerning generation, completion, and distribution of reports according to new or revised practices, procedures, or policies of reports management.
- Understand new system changes as they affect data sources, reports, and reporting systems, and make the necessary changes to existing reports.

About you
- Relevant degree qualification/s (e.g. IT, Data and Analytics, Business) and/or proven role experience deemed equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in analytics, reporting and report development.
- Sound knowledge of analytical and reporting tool such as Microsoft Power BI
- High level of expertise in reports development, analytics and business reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to collaborate and contribute to a cross-functional team positively.
- Demonstrable strong data analysis skills and multi-dimensional cube design and development
