We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a background ideally in Construction and/or Water Infrastructure Projects. Your skills and expertise will help Sydney Water deliver a long-term investment program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.
What You’ll Do
You will support all project phases, ensuring construction activities meet technical, quality, and performance standards. These include resolving technical issues, monitoring quality, overseeing hold points, and facilitating handover and commissioning, while ensuring procurement, contracting, design, and construction align. Building strong relationships and working collaboratively with stakeholders will be essential to ensuring project success.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Engineering degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent/related technical qualifications.
Valid driver’s licence with the ability to work in remote locations, where public transport may not be available.
Engineering experience in construction, complex infrastructure projects, or water infrastructure.
Technical Capability: demonstrated technical experience in managing construction activities of medium to large risk/complexity infrastructure projects.
