About the role
This role supports the execution of the Health and Wellbeing strategy and coordinating the implementing and administration of health and wellbeing programs and related activities across Sydney Water.
Support delivery of Health and Wellbeing plans and programs that focus on improved personal and organisational wellbeing across Sydney Water. This includes (but is not limited to) the My Wellbeing My Way (EAP offering), influenza vaccination, and Fitness Passport programs
- Support people leaders and employees with targeted wellbeing programs
- Participate in the effective review of implemented health and wellbeing programs and highlight opportunities for improvement
- In collaboration with the Health and Wellbeing Specialist, coordinate a calendar of health and wellbeing promotional initiatives based on data and risk
- Advise on health and wellbeing risks and controls, with a particular focus on psychosocial hazards and risks
- Stay up to date with health, safety and wellbeing issues, trends and laws and advise on how Sydney Water strategies and programs should be adapted.
- Manage the Wellbeing and Fitness Passport mailboxes
- Administer supplier payments and undertake regular audits of invoicing processes
- Coordinate engaging meetings, events, and forums (e.g. Wellbeing Champions and Wellbeing Advisory Group)
About you
To be successful in the role you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in allied health science or associated degree
- NSW Driver’s License
- Experience working in an occupational health and/or wellbeing role within a large complex organisation
- Strong relationship management, influencing skills and cultural change capability
- Extensive ability to engage with people at all levels in the organisation and with external stakeholders
- Data analysis and interpretation skills and experience
- Experience in implementing company-wide wellbeing programs
- Experience leading and working with all levels of employees
- Knowledge in Work Health and Safety legislation, with a particular focus on psychosocial hazard management
