About the role:

This role is at the heart of Sydney Water’s Infrastructure Delivery team, overseeing critical systems that support the design, construction, and maintenance of essential Infrastructure. You’ll ensure smooth operations and high-quality data, providing expert guidance to both internal teams and external project partners. In this position, you’ll maintain and improve key systems that support Infrastructure Delivery, ensuring consistency and helping end users to understand and follow processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain the consistency of systems crucial to Infrastructure Delivery, ensuring smooth process adherence and empowering users with the knowledge to succeed.
  • Collaborate with Senior BSI Analysts to drive system improvements, including process mapping, user acceptance testing, and system roll-out.
  • Regularly audit and reconcile data quality, proactively addressing any discrepancies to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Inspire and motivate stakeholders to embrace processes, creating a positive culture of compliance and engagement within a high-volume environment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the unique aspects of Infrastructure Delivery at Sydney Water, providing tailored support to drive success across the team.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, records administration, engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with desirable qualifications in quality management, auditing, or data management.
  • Proven experience in systems administration, document control, and a results-driven approach within a similar industry.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of delivering impactful presentations to large groups, while engaging, motivating, and inspiring others to follow processes and standards.
  • Proficiency in IT and specialized software (e.g., SW Delivery Portal, InEight Document, Power BI), along with a strong ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and reporting capabilities, with the ability to manage a high volume of people and projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain adherence to standardized processes.
