Sydney Water is undertaking a 10-year multibillion dollar Infrastructure program to renew, expand & build infrastructure to support a more sustainable, resilient, and efficient water network for Sydney’s growing population. About This Role:

As a Scheduler, you’ll prepare and assess project schedules and plans across the full scope and all phases. You’ll work with stakeholders to optimise timelines, ensuring projects and programs meet objectives, budgets, and deadlines. You’ll also maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in scheduling across Infrastructure Delivery and System Planning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assess, and maintain project schedules across all phases using Primavera P6.
  • Review and approve contractor schedules, ensuring compliance with Sydney Water processes.
  • Monitor milestones, critical paths, and variances; provide reports and feedback to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to optimise timelines and manage impacts on cost and time.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, earned value assessments, and continuous process improvements.

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field
  • 6–10 years’ experience in scheduling construction infrastructure projects, including Primavera P6 expertise.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of scheduling best practices and legislation
  • Experience with Power BI and SAP reporting (highly desirable).
