Your role will involve:

As a EPMO CoE Lead, you will provide guidance and leadership to the Enterprise Centre of Excellence team within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), driving the continuous enhancement of project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Additionally, the role works collaboratively across the organisation to uplift capability and govern Sydney Water’s Enterprise Portfolio, Program, and Project management. The role also focuses on maturing key areas of the EPMO function, such as Quality Assurance, Benefits Management, Management Reporting, and Governance, to ensure effective delivery and alignment with organisational goals.

 What You’ll Bring:

Analytical Skills: You should possess strong conceptual and critical thinking skills which will allow to solve practical problems efficiently. You should have a proven track record of analysing performance and developing initiatives to improve business process performance.

Interpersonal Skills: You must have demonstrated the ability to partner with and influence others to achieve the organization’s strategic outcomes. Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills enabling you to effectively engage with individuals at all levels. Additionally, you should excel at managing competing requirements and meeting strict deadlines in a high-volume work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

You should possess Minimum degree qualification in Business or professional discipline, ideally with Actuarial/Analytics qualifications and/or post-graduate qualifications (e.g. MBA, CPA).

Additional relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable e.g. Portfolio, Program or   Project Management qualifications. Certification in relevant toolsets highly desirable. (Portfolio Management, Visualisation tools)
