What will you be doing?
Essential to the day-to-day operations of water, wastewater, recycled water and stormwater networks, this role is responsible for ensuring the network operates to meet water continuity and Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) requirements.
Your role will focus on operating the network to ensure efficient delivery of water, recycled water, wastewater & stormwater services to customers by setting the operating parameters at a local level, operating the network, managing risk, stakeholder engagement and management, and monitoring as appropriate.

Who are we looking for?
- A tertiary qualification in engineering, science or a related discipline and/or proven experience in operations, maintenance/renewals or treatment/quality aspects of water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- Highly developed problem solving, lateral thinking, communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Highly developed skills and experience in dealing with customer, stakeholder & regulator issues
- Experience in the measurement, analysis and evaluation of water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater system performance and the ability to develop strategies & work programs to improve performance
- Current driver’s license with the ability to travel across the Sydney Water network of operations
- Available to work outside normal working hours, either from home, office or in the field as required.
