About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Production Officer - Level 2, to join the Georges River Hub team for a full-time permanent role. The Georges River Hub consists of Glenfield WRRP, Liverpool WRRP and Fairfield WWTP.
The purpose of the role is to support the Georges River Hub team to operate and maintain our facilities, as we build a high performing culture together, safely and efficiently. If you believe you can support us across the whole hub to continually improve our core operations and deliver numerous multi-million-dollar projects and plant upgrades, we want to hear from you!
The position is initially based at Glenfield WRRP and will require your flexibility to learn and support other locations within our Hub.
About you
This position will suit a team member with a background in water waster and/or utilities having experience in project works across plant upgrade, process optimization and fast paced production or manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A passion for wastewater recovery in an operational environment!
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Science or trade qualification.
- Current valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Experience in a production, utilities or asset maintenance environment.
- Ability to commit to working on a stand-by roster
- Good people skills and experience in coordinating internal and external service providers to perform maintenance and project works.
- Exposure to quality management systems (ISO 9000, 14000, 4801)
- A personal drive for continuous improvement and to contribute to a positive team culture.
