Development Account Manager
About the role:
This role manages a team to ensure service level agreements are met and developer experience is improved, while also supporting the city's growth by connecting developers to the network and protecting assets.
The role oversees the development application process for medium to high complexity cases in a specific region to enhance the experience of both professional and novice developers. You will lead and manage a Developer Partnerships team comprised of Lead, Senior & Development Consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor development services teams by providing design review support and leadership to enable customer focused responses.
- Provide technical leadership in the development and implementation of guidelines, process, procedures, work instructions, systems and portals within the team.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of development application management, and actively contribute to initiatives to drive increased developer experience.
- Proactively manage relationships with developers and their water service coordinator/s within the region to build strategic, long-term relationships.
About you:
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams including understanding and implementing business and commercial outcomes, build commitment, and foster high performance.
- Advanced process improvement skills including the identification of key improvement opportunities and training/aligning a team against the new ways of working.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a development servicing/ infrastructure planning environment.
- Proven experience aligning a team to a vision and objectives that build a high-performance culture through role clarity, open and constructive communication and effective leadership practices.
