About the Role

As a Senior Development Consultant, you will be responsible of end-to-end case management to ensure the seamless delivery of essential infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive project coordination and support through our case management platform, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintaining case management documentation with a strong focus on quality control.
  • Facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design approval issues, helping developers stay on track with their project deadlines.
  • Reviewing case documents in compliance with Sydney Water’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Calculating and issuing Infrastructure Contributions with precision and accountability.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, solutions-driven professional with:

  • Proven experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver results.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. University/TAFE graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse options and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to assess and review key documents, including commercial deeds, designs, funding/procurement packages, and finalisation packages.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure servicing types (water, wastewater, stormwater, recycled water) would be beneficial.
