About the role

As a Workplace Project Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and executing projects, managing risks, and ensuring projects stay within budget. You'll engage with stakeholders, keep them informed, and ensure the right resources are in place. Your leadership will motivate the team and keep the project on track to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

You will be responsible for executing project management processes across multiple projects, even when coordinators or vendor managers are involved.

Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute project plans.

Scope Management: Plan, define, control, and verify project scope.

Cost Management: Forecast, report, control, estimate, and budget costs.

Time Management: Develop and control schedules.

Quality Management: Plan, control, and assure quality.

Risk/Issue Management: Identify, monitor, respond to, and plan for risks/issues.

Procurement: Plan purchases, manage procurement, and administer contracts.

Communication: Manage documents, plan communications, distribute information, and report performance.

You'll own key deliverables like project plans and schedules and refer unresolved issues to higher management. With high autonomy, you'll collaborate to define teams and achieve project outcomes, build strong relationships, set clear tasks, and ensure accountability and authority. Your leadership will foster team commitment and deliver agreed outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

A degree in construction management or related discipline.

A qualification in one of the following. Property, building and construction, project management, engineering, architecture presentation skills and ability to take people on the change journey 

Experience in project scheduling software (either Microsoft Project / Primavera)

Experience in project finance management software (SAP)

8+ years demonstrated industry experience

Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and managing avoidable project risks including reputational risk triggers, resolve issues in a proactive and timely manner; monitor and report progress.

NEC4 contract management and administration.

Ability to influence and manage 'difficult stakeholders’

Experience in the fitout of complicated office environment

Fixed Term 12-month role
