We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning and management of electronic security assets, including alarm/access control systems, CCTV, and communications equipment. You will assist in security risk assessments, contract management, incident investigations, and the maintenance of electronic site files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the BAU setup and maintenance of security systems, including alarm/access control, CCTV, and communication equipment.
  • Contribute to site security risk assessments and provide recommendations.
  • Assist in the management of security contracts, including tender evaluations, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Manage, maintain and update electronic site files, including security system diagrams and maps.
  • Manage the support for the Electronic Security System, including data entry and technician support.

Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience with electronic security systems, including alarms, access control, and CCTV.
  • Experience with Avigilon, TeCom and Forcefield along with any experience with WMSPro.
  • Strong understanding of electronic security risk assessments, faults and incident management.
  • Experience with security contract management and budgeting.
  • Ability to manage, maintain and update technical security documentation.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills, with a talent for coaching and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive employee relations cases and drive cultural change.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and analytical thinking, with a focus on practical outcomes.

Essential Requirements: 

  • You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application to be considered for this role.

  • Flexibility to travel across Sydney Water sites as required.
