About the role
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement change management plans for business change initiatives to drive faster employee adoption and greater utilisation and proficiency of the changes to ensure business, schedule and budget objectives are met. This role supports and advises project managers, communications and human resource practitioners and business leaders in change management approaches as well as coaching business leaders in leading their teams through significant transitions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide change coaching and support to people leaders and key stakeholders within the business to facilitate the successful implementation of business change initiatives.
Develop and execute change management plans to maximise employee adoption of the future state and minimise change resistance.
Who are we looking for?
Track record of successfully navigating complex change environments.
Strong ability to effectively manage scope and stay focused on the key priorities for this program, as it’s critical to avoid taking on too much.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate and build trust with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, technical teams, field workers, and end users.
Proven experience leading change initiatives within large organisations or projects.
Experience in working with unions.
Tertiary qualification in Change Management or Business-related discipline.
Highly experienced in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data examples include:
Identifying and prioritising impacted stakeholders
Change and data analysis - stakeholder assessments (understanding what their needs are and how to engage them), impact analysis.
Ability to conduct Training needs analysis.
Design, Planning and delivery of fit for purpose change plans.
Specific Technical Skills:
Advanced capabilities with Excel, PowerPoint and other change related software
Basic- Intermediate Project Management skills
Specific soft Skills:
Good time management and prioritisation skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Sound business acumen.
Ability to influence and manage 'difficult stakeholders’.
Balance of IQ and EQ - confident but humble, respectful, heightened levels of empathy for those affected by change.
