About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide resource management and analysis across the Digital pipeline, delivery portfolios and BAU activities to ensure programs, projects and BAU are adequately resourced.

You will facilitate and collaborate with project managers and team leaders to capture resource plans and forecasts and compile and monitor a total view across all resources (CAPEX and BAU) to see where supply and demand issues emerge. You will provide resourcing insights to the Portfolio Analyst and Reporting Lead in the delivery of complex reporting outputs.

Your role will involve:

Ensure the resource demand forecast takes into consideration all pipeline work including those with active with project managers or team leaders

Proactively highlight risks to capacity issues (over/under utilisation) and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans

Support all Digital team leaders and the program/project delivery teams with monitoring the availability and mix of resources (internal staff, agency hires, panel contracts/specialists) to inform the allocation of resources to meet the existing and forecast pipeline of work

Build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Align reporting procedures & standards to the requirements established by Corporate/Finance/EPMO.

Interpersonal Skills:

Participate actively in project teams and prioritize tasks. Manage conflicts, manage scope, manage requirements communications and to maintain knowledge for future use.

Who are we looking for?

Diploma or Tertiary qualification in business/IT management, Project Management, or equivalent experience.

PM Accreditations including PRINCE2, PMBOK, AgilePM or similar qualification

5 Years Resource Analyst/Manager experience

Experience supporting delivery of large capital portfolios

Experience as a Resource Analyst/Manager in large complex environment

Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft suite, specifically MS Excel e.g. knowledge of pivot tables and MS Project: portfolio dependency management (master schedule).
