This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Sydney Water, operating and maintaining our network- based water quality monitoring instruments, Chemical Dosing and Odour Control units.

What you will be doing:
You will be field based, driving to various locations as required – maintaining and operating chemical dosing and odour control units. This will involve:
- Performing calibration of field-based instrumentation.
- Performing initial breakdown response and maintenance
- Assessing tasks and situations and prioritising and responding appropriately
- Perform process and equipment monitoring using SCADA
- Working with internal teams to set priorities, and having input into weekly scheduling, and monthly forecasting.
Who we are looking for:
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a high paced operational team ideally in a mobile role. You are able to plan and prioritise work schedules and are a hands on problem solver with experience in the operation and maintenance of process equipment. You will also be committed to the improvement of our safety culture and efficiency outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical / electrical / instrumentation trade qualifications preferred but tertiary qualifications in engineering / science, or equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in the water, wastewater treatment or resource recovery or similar process or manufacturing industry.
- Hold a current driver’s licence
