Are you passionate about driving project excellence and embedding best practice across major infrastructure programs? Sydney Water is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Delivery Optimisation team within the Infrastructure Delivery Office (IDO).
As a key member of the team, you will provide guidance, leadership, and hands-on support to drive continuous improvement across Infrastructure Delivery. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining simplified, consistent, and standardised project management methodologies, tools, and templates, ensuring alignment with Sydney Water’s infrastructure delivery lifecycle and recognised industry frameworks.
This role is central to uplifting project management capability across the organisation and strengthening governance and assurance for Infrastructure Delivery programs and projects. You’ll work collaboratively across Sydney Water to integrate key Delivery Optimisation functions, including:
- Project Development & Business Case formulation
- Workforce (& Competency) Planning
- Project Management Capability Development.
Your leadership will help ensure Infrastructure Delivery is equipped to deliver projects effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with organisational goals, investment objectives, and customer outcomes.

Important: This is a role focused on supporting the planning and development of Water infrastructure construction projects.
