  • 38 hours per week and eligible for 1 RDO per month

About the role:

Join Sydney Water and focus on implementation of effective asset information management and continuous improvement initiatives. You will help deliver asset information management for strategic focus areas such as data creation and updates, architecture analysis, application management, data governance, security, access management, metadata, reference data, and master data management. It ensures all artefacts are developed and implemented in alignment with the organisation’s enterprise and asset management frameworks.

What you will be doing: 

  • Ensure guidance follows best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide Business SME knowledge to resolve enhancement requests or issues and collaborate on asset information management initiatives.
  • Support stakeholders with requirements and business case articulation related to information improvement initiatives for asset management.
  • Align asset information requirements with management objectives, work in partnership with all business areas, suppliers, and stakeholders. manage SLAs, KPIs, and adapt delivery for timely results.


Your Experience and Qualifications:

Ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology, or related discipline.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experiences of Enterprise Asset Management systems and processes – ideally with Maximo, Smallworld GIS and Enterprise Drawing Management System or similar
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset data and information management to support business processes and implement ongoing improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and to inform management to assist decision-making. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and Power BI or equivalent visualization applications.
